Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage Project In The Netherlands

PVT system integrated with HCS (Heat Cold Storage) solved the seasonal mismatch of heat demand and generation. The Solarus system generates heat and electricity from the sun. Heat is stored in the HCS during summer months and extracted during winter when the heat demand is high. Therefore, combining these two technologies solves a big issue of seasonal mismatch of energy generation and demand. Heat is being supplied through the city heating network to apartments, sport centers, supermarkets and other large facilities.
