EPC

A crucial role in the implementation of our hybrid solar panel solution

Engineering, procurement and critical components (EPC) play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our hybrid solar solution with PVT technology. As a complex system that combines both electrical and thermal components, our hybrid solar system requires careful planning, design and selection of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

Engineering phase

Involves the design of the hybrid solar system, including the layout of the system and dedicated auxiliaries.

Procurement phase

Sourcing the necessary components for the hybrid solar system, including the collectors, inverters and other critical equipment.

Critical components

Selection, to ensure that they meet the required specifications and are compatible with the other components in the system

Asset management

Monitoring, metering and reporting. Operation and maintenance. Upgrades and replacement

Asset management is critical for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of your hot water solution. Effective asset management practices help to ensure that the system operates efficiently, provides reliable energy and reduces costs.

Monitoring, metering and reporting

Essential for renewable energy systems. It provides valuable data on energy production and consumption, which can inform decisions for optimizing the system’s performance and reducing energy costs.

Operations and maintenance

(O&M) not only reduces operating costs but also increases profitability. In O&M we do all the activity related to the proper functioning. For example: performance analysis, preventive maintenance, cleaning and corrective maintenance.

Upgrades

May include the installation of more efficient panels or upgrades to the hot water system, such as the installation of more efficient water heaters. These upgrades can improve the system’s overall efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and increase energy production.

Replacements

May be necessary when components of the system reach the end of their lifespan or are no longer functioning correctly. For example, solar panels may need to be replaced when they become damaged or are no longer producing enough energy. Hot water systems may require replacements of water heaters or pipes that have become corroded or damaged over time.

Financing

Solarus making it easier for building owners to invest in sustainable energy solutions.

Solar Photovoltaic systems and hybrid solar panel solutions can be combined with hot water solutions to create a comprehensive and sustainable energy system for hotels. However, the cost of installation can be a significant barrier. Financing options such as Power Purchase Agreements, solar leases, and government incentives can help to make these systems more accessible and affordable. As the demand for renewable energy sources continues to grow, it is likely that more financing options will become available, making it easier for building owners to invest in sustainable energy solutions.

Solarus is focused on serving industrial and commercial customers across the world, with a high demand for hot water and a limited solar collection area.
